Ussistant Studio Showcases 'Project P' at 2024 G-Star with Three Exciting New Games Focused on Environmental Awareness and Education
Ussistant Studio has made a remarkable appearance at the 2024 G-Star, one of Asia’s largest gaming events, by presenting Project P, a series of three exciting new games. Developed in collaboration with Seoul Digital High School, Project P introduces a charming penguin-themed universe where players embark on fun missions that also promote environmental awareness. Through this initiative, Ussistant Studio aims to raise a voice about the importance of protecting nature, while also offering an educational experience for young players.

One of the unique aspects of Project P is its focus on environmental conservation. The game’s stories and missions are designed to help children easily understand the importance of protecting the environment. By incorporating themes of sustainability and eco-friendly practices, Project P seeks to inspire the next generation to take action in preserving nature. This environmental message is delivered through engaging gameplay that allows players to learn while having fun.

At the 2024 G-Star, Ussistant Studio showcased three key titles from Project P:

-
A Running Race Game – A fast-paced, two-player competitive race where teamwork and collaboration are essential. As players race through lush, nature-inspired environments, they learn the value of working together to protect the planet.
-
Ice Cream Dessert Shop Tycoon – A light-hearted simulation game where up to four players manage their own eco-friendly ice cream shop. The game emphasizes sustainability, encouraging players to use environmentally conscious practices in running their business.
-
Survival Game – A thrilling survival game for up to eight players, where participants must work together to overcome environmental challenges. The game encourages players to think critically about resource management and how to protect the world around them.
These three games were met with an overwhelmingly positive response, with over 5,000 visitors engaging with the content at G-Star. Feedback revealed that more than 80% of players were highly satisfied with the experience, praising the games for their creativity, charm, and the impactful environmental message. The adorable penguin characters and the diverse gameplay modes were particularly well received by attendees.

In addition to the games themselves, Project P represents a unique collaboration between Ussistant Studio and Seoul Digital High School, with a focus on empowering young students entering the fields of IT and game development. Through this partnership, Ussistant Studio developed an educational system that makes game development more accessible for students who are just beginning their journey into the world of technology and gaming.

The collaboration provided students with structured learning opportunities and hands-on experience, guiding them through the game development process. As a result, the high school students demonstrated remarkable growth, surpassing previous cohorts in their ability to create high-quality content. The games developed alongside these students featured a level of polish and creativity that made it hard to believe they were created by high schoolers. The collaboration not only contributed to the success of Project P but also gave the students an invaluable opportunity to gain real-world experience in game design and development.

Looking ahead, Ussistant Studio plans to further develop Project P based on the feedback received at G-Star and will present the project at Gamescom 2025 in Germany, scheduled for August. The studio is also preparing for the release of the games on PC and consoles, expanding the reach of these educational and environmentally conscious games to a global audience.

A representative from Ussistant Studio commented, “We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done with Seoul Digital High School. The students’ growth has been nothing short of extraordinary, and their contributions have helped shape Project G into something truly special. We are excited to continue refining the games, incorporating more feedback, and looking forward to showcasing them at Gamescom 2025. Our goal is not only to entertain but to educate young players about the importance of protecting the environment through engaging and meaningful gameplay.”

With its unique blend of entertainment, education, and environmental awareness, Project G is poised to make a lasting impact. Through this initiative, Ussistant Studio is not only creating fun and innovative games but also helping to nurture the next generation of game developers, all while delivering an important message about the preservation of our planet.
